He's good to go

What's the story?

After an awful illness and a very scary situation, Ric Flair is now well enough to go home. His finance Wendy Barlow recently sent out a picture of The Nature Boy leaving the hospital looking mighty glad to be medically released.

In case you didn't know...

Just before SummerSlam Ric Flair came down with a very scary health situation. He was experiencing abdominal pain and was taken to the hospital. What happened after that was a nightmare because he was kept in ICU and soon put into a medically induced coma where he was rushed into surgery.

Part of his bowel was removed and he had a pacemaker inserted. It was a very serious situation and his loved ones were told he had around a 20% chance of survival.

The heart of the matter

The Nature Boy has been doing better since his awful health crisis. He was well enough to give an interview with People Magazine where he not only went into detail about you serious of a situation he was in but also proclaimed he would never drink alcohol again.

Now Ric Flair's fiance Wendy Barlow announced via social media that Ric Flair is good to go. She also included a picture of a smiling Nature Boy as he got in the car looking extremely happy to go home.

What's next?

Hopefully, Ric Flair will keep recovering and we'll see him back on television in no time. He'll be Stylin' and Profilin' all over the place in no time if he keeps up this kind of rate.

Author's take

It's great to see Ric Flair is well enough to get to go home. It's been a long time since The Nature Boy was able to go home and it's about time.

Let's just hope he's able to stay healthy and keep to his word about not drinking anymore. If he's able to live a healthy lifestyle now it very well might mean we will have plenty of years to come for more iconic moments from Ric Flair.
