What's the story?

According to the reports, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair will be making his first appearance since his surgery on Saturday, November 18th in Atlanta, Georgia.

In case you didn't know...

Flair had surgery at a hospital in Georgia hospital for an undisclosed medical issue on August 14th. Jerry "The King" Lawler mentioned on his podcast "Dinner With The King" that Flair only had a 20% chance to live.

Post his surgery, Flair has posted several updates on his social media accounts showing that he is slowly progressing back to his old self.

The heart of the matter...

Flair's appearance will take place at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest on November 18th. With it being in Atlanta, he wouldn't have to travel much as that could be a strain on his body so soon after surgery.

Also scheduled to appear at this fan fest is another person with wrestling ties, Stephen Amell. The star of Arrow on the CW feuded with Stardust in 2015 leading to a match at SummerSlam where Amell impressed.

The fan fest takes place in many cities within the United States, and you can check out the details at the following website.

What's next?

The fan fest will be what's next for The Nature Boy most likely as he continues to rest and recover from the surgery. It is unknown when Flair will make his return to the WWE.

It is interesting to note that Monday Night Raw will take place in Atlanta, Georgia on November 13th, a few days before the fan fest.

Author's take...

It's great to see Ric get back out there. It means he's getting better day by day, and it will be a treat for the Nature Boy fans to get to meet him.

The fact that the WWE is coming to Atlanta next month is interesting too. The WWE Universe is ready to give Ric a gigantic ovation upon his return to the television.
