WWE News: Ric Flair thinks Lesnar vs Goldberg is not a good idea

Goldberg returned to WWE after twelve years

As the buzz about Goldberg vs Lesnar increases, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair feels the booking as a bad idea. In the recent episode of ‘The Ric Flair Show’, he discussed that someone, who has stayed away from in-ring competition for such a long period of time, even if it is Goldberg, should not agree to wrestle Brock Lesnar.

According to Flair :

“ ‘Time off is a wrestler’s worst enemy’. And he [has] been off a long time and to jump in there against Brock who is in peak condition all the time, because of his dual roles, either MMA or professional wrestling, he stays in top shape and I don’t know that Bill has.”

Moreover, every opponent of Lesnar is guaranteed a ‘journey to the Suplex City’, and Flair believes that Goldberg’s physical condition won’t allow him to overcome numerous suplexes. He added :

“I mean, I just don’t think Bill is going to be physically up for that, myself. I mean, it might look good on paper, but, God, because Brock is 10 times more aggressive now than he was the last time he wrestled Bill.”

The latest edition of RAW marked the triumphant return of the Goldberg. He answered the challenge, which was issued by the advocate of the Beast Incarnate and hence, it is confirmed that Brock Lesnar will once again collide with Goldberg.

The former 2 time World Champion also revealed that Lesnar will be his very last victim. The long awaited rematch between the two will possibly take place at this year’s Survivor Series.

Well, the last time Goldberg faced Lesnar, the encounter turned out to be one of the worst WrestleMania bouts in history. Even, Stone Cold as the guest referee could not save the match from being a disaster.
