What’s the story?

In a recent interview with SoloWrestling.com, Charlotte Flair revealed that her father Ric Flair will be at WWE Starrcade.

Charlotte said that his special appearance comes due to the fact that she’s been scheduled to compete at the event.

In case you didn’t know…

The WWE is bringing back the iconic WCW PPV event Starrcade, albeit as a live event and not a pay-per-view presentation.

As we had previously reported, WWE is going all-out in its upcoming Starrcade house show later this month, roping in Tony Schiavone and bringing back the WCW Control Center. 

The heart of the matter

Charlotte opened up on Ric Flair’s scheduled appearance at the event:

“I know he’s going to Starrcade, Saturday after Thanksgiving to watch me wrestle in a cage.”

What’s next?

WWE Starrcade takes place at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina on November 25th.

Author’s take

It’s great to see the Nature Boy recovering well. It would be great to see Ric Flair at the event, especially considering how important a personality he was in WCW.

Kudos to the WWE for bringing back this iconic event for professional wrestling fans and WCW hardcore fans!
