WWE News: Roman Reigns confirmed for WWE's UK tour in May

What's the story?

WWE UK has today confirmed that Roman Reigns will travel with the rest of the roster in May and embark on their annual post-WrestleMania ventures in Great Britain.

In case you didn't know...

Roman Reigns took a leave of absence from WWE on October 22nd, 2018, relinquishing the Universal Championship and announcing that he'd be stepping away from the ring indefinitely to battle leukemia - a disease he has been dealing with for over 11 years.

Reigns returned to WWE just last month, though, to an incredible ovation - and a monumental pop that was dwarfed with the confirmation that The Big Dog was in remission.

Reigns has also recently ventured into Hollywood, starring alongside The Rock in his acting debut in Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw and appearing in Nickelodeon's Cousins For Life, before it was confirmed today that Reigns would also be starring in Netflix comedy The Wrong Missy.

The heart of the matter

In the past hour, WWE UK has exclusively confirmed that Roman Reigns will join WWE for their May UK tour - signaling the news that The Big Dog really is back in WWE on a full-time basis.

WWE will run WWE Live events in Newcastle on May 11th, Liverpool on May 12th, WWE RAW will emanate from London's O2 on May 13th with a Live event in Bournemouth on the same day, SmackDown also emanates from the O2 in London on May 14th, with events in Birmingham, Sheffield and Cardiff on the 15th, 16th and 17th respectively.
