#2 "I'm very, very jealous" — Goldberg's reaction to Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre's WWE WrestleMania clash

Goldberg did not take part in WWE WrestleMania 37. However, he witnessed Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre's WWE Championship match on the first night of the pay-per-view.

Appearing on the latest edition of WWE's The Bump, the WCW icon praised both men and was impressed with their performances. Additionally, Goldberg felt "jealous" over Lashley and McIntyre's WrestleMania match, connecting their bright future to the remaining portion of his own professional wrestling career.

"Once I realized that I'm still part of the roster and those guys are still potential opponents of mine, how do I stack up? Now I get to see them punching each other in the face, I'm very, very jealous," Goldberg admitted. "Still a conundrum of mine, you also have to figure out when enough is enough and when to hand it over. And I'm telling you, the future looks pretty damn bright looking at these guys."

Goldberg last wrestled against Drew McIntyre at WWE Royal Rumble 2021. During their clash, McIntyre defeated the veteran to achieve one of his career-best wins.

Despite the loss, Goldberg is expected to wrestle once again at some point this year. He is contracted to wrestle in limited matches per year, and in 2021, he has only fought on one occasion thus far.
