#4 WWE SmackDown's Shinsuke Nakamura gives his honest opinion on Brock Lesnar's stint in Japan

Outside of WWE, Brock Lesnar wrestled a few matches in Japan from 2005-2007. He also won the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship during that time, defending it against a few wrestlers, including Shinsuke Nakamura.

The Beast Incarnate's run in Japan certainly led to backstage controversy. Lesnar was stripped of the title in June 2006 due to visa issues, eventually dropping it a year later to Kurt Angle for the IGF (Inoki Genome Federation) promotion.

Recently appearing on Renee Paquette's 'Oral Sessions' podcast, Shinsuke Nakamura responded to Brock Lesnar's stint in Japan with a single word — "unprofessional."

On WWE television, Nakamura and Lesnar have only been part of the same match once, during the 2020 men's Royal Rumble contest. Speaking to Renee Paquette, The King of Strong Style revealed his thoughts on a potential one-on-one WWE clash against Lesnar:

"If I have the opportunity, of course," Nakamura said.

Last month, Japanese wrestling legend Hiroshi Tanahashi also criticized Brock Lesnar's "completely selfish way of wrestling." You can read more about that story HERE.
