Bayley picked John Cena over Roman Reigns ahead of WWE SummerSlam
Roman Reigns' heel turn was one of the best things to happen during WWE’s ThunderDome Era. The Universal Champion discussed his run in a recent interview and stated that he was the best performer during the said period.
He feels that he carried the WWE product and did a better job than other superstars like Bayley.
“There’s been nobody to ever carry the WWE product like I have over the past year, and I stand on that. You can throw anybody out. We can try and be nice and say, ‘Oh, Bayley! She just got hurt. She was the best.’ Come on, let’s not lie to ourselves. The Tribal Chief has carried the WWE for well over a year now, and there’s no denying it,” said Roman Reigns.
The Role Model did not like Reigns’ comments about her and revealed on Twitter that she is now on “Team Cena”. The former Women’s Champion is currently out with a long-term injury but she maintains an active presence on social media.
Bayley was one of the best performers during the ThunderDome Era and justifiably took offense in Reigns’ comments. It also plays well into her heel gimmick, and she has picked a clear favorite ahead of the title match between John Cena and Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2021. Are you on the same side as Bayley?
