Ricochet recently opened up about potential opponents he would like to face on WWE SmackDown. The Resident Superhero mentioned that he would like to face the likes of Drew McIntyre and Shinsuke Nakamura. He also revealed that he was close to a match against the reigning Intercontinental Champion, but that it was canceled due to a conflict in their schedule.

"I think there are a couple of guys over here, other than Drew [McIntyre], that I would like to smack in the face," said Ricochet. "There are a couple of guys that I would like to give the Recoil to, Shinsuke Nakamura being one of them. I don't think we ever had a singles match."

"We were supposed to wrestle one time in England, but I think I had to go to Japan for a tour," Ricochet continued. "So I wasn't able to do that. He's one guy that I'm hoping to get in the ring with."

Ricochet has not featured in a lot of promising matches on WWE television in a while. Fans have wanted to see him in high-profile feuds for a while, and we hope to see him involved in compelling storylines moving forward.

This week on RAW, Becky Lynch and Edge referred to released superstars during their respective segments. The Man told Liv Morgan that she cried about losing her friends [Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan]. Morgan quickly responded by saying that she only lost her friends because people like Lynch eat half the budget.

On the other hand, Edge told The Miz that he left his former tag team partner [John Morrison] high and dry to get fired. Morrison later responded on Twitter by saying that he wasn't left "high and dry" and even hyped The Miz for his potential feud with The Rated-R Superstar.

As per the latest backstage reports, former WWE stars and producers were not happy with these promos and felt that it was in bad taste. It is being reported that a current superstar also felt uncomfortable with Edge and Becky Lynch's comments mentioned above.
