WWE News: Sami Zayn loses it with a fan following SmackDown Live

Sami Zayn really wasn't happey about his loss to Dolph Ziggler
Sami Zayn really wasn't happy about his loss to Dolph Ziggler

What's the story?

SmackDown Live didn't exactly go to plan for Sami Zayn this week and it seems that the anger from his loss to Dolph Ziggler continued after SmackDown went off the air. There was a video shared on Twitter that showed Zayn shouting at a fan for trying to take a selfie with him.

In case you didn't know...

Zayn hasn't had a great few weeks as he not only lost his shot at the WWE Championship back at the Royal Rumble but was also eliminated from the Royal Rumble match later that night when he and Kevin Owens attacked Tye Dillinger and stole his slot at number 10.

The duo has since been given another shot at the WWE Championship at Fastlane in a triple threat match, but Shane McMahon decided that the winner of the match between Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler this past week on SmackDown would also be added to the match to make it a fatal four-way.

Zayn and Owens decided to interfere in the match and took out Corbin before he could make it out to the ring in the hopes that neither man would be able to be added to their match, but this plan failed when singles matches between Zayn and Ziggler and Owens and Corbin were made for later in the night with the stipulation that if Ziggler and Cobin won their matches then they would be added to the match to make it a fatal five-way, which they did.

The heart of the matter

Zayn was pinned in the main event of last night's SmackDown Live after Ziggler moved out of the way of the Helluva kick and delivered a superkick of his own for the win. It seems that Zayn was in no mood to listen to the WWE Universe after his match and as he stood shouting at the fans, one fan decided to try to take a selfie, which was a huge mistake.

It seems that Zayn was in no mood for selfies with fans and lost it with the female fan who quickly ran away.

What's next?

Sami Zayn is one of five men in the WWE Championship match at Fastlane in less than a month's time on 11 March as he takes on Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin, and current champion AJ Styles in a fatal five-way match.

Author's take

If anyone knows how to remain in character it's Sami Zayn. Kevin Owens is exactly the same and is easily able to remain in character on social media as well. This is just Zayn further showing how great he is as a heel and how much WWE take him for granted.

He was already in a bad mood anyway and then a fan tried to put their phone in his face; did she really expect any other reaction?
