What’s the story?

On this week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, the duo of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder—collectively known as The Revival—suffered a major loss to the current Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus.

Following their loss to The Bar, Revival’s Scott Dawson took it to his official Twitter handle earlier in the day and addressed The Revival’s loss and what the future holds for him and Dash Wilder.

In case you didn’t know…

Ever since their call-up to the main-roster last year, The Revival has lost a lot of momentum, due to the various injury issues to both Dash and Dawson. The former NXT Tag Champions, however, have recently made it clear that they are willing to capture the Raw Tag Team Title and will stop at nothing.

The heart of the matter

In a very recent tweet from his official Twitter account, former NXT Tag Team Champion Scott Dawson sent out a rather emotional and motivating message to the rest of the wrestling world, after The Revival suffered a major blow to their Raw Tag Team Title hopes.

Dawson stated in his tweet that ever since he and his tag team partner Dash Wilder were little, both of them shared a very common goal and one dream, which to become the WWE Tag Team Champions, however, a devastating loss on Raw, Dawson claimed that he still hopes to achieve his goal to one day be tag champions with his best friend Dash Wilder by his side.

Furthermore, Dawson also wrote, he has too much pride and love for the wrestling business and no matter what he and Wilder will not stop, despite all the challenges and obstacles being thrown at them.

What’s next?

The Revival did indeed suffer a huge loss to The Bar, earlier in the week and their WrestleMania dreams now look to be in massive jeopardy, however, let us just hope that both Dash and Dawson get a formidable pair of opponents at The Grandest Stage of Them All, because a WrestleMania without the “Top Guys” is definitely going be lackluster.

Author’s Take

In my opinion, WWE has definitely rushed with The Revival’s main roster run and should have instead given them a Raw Tag Title shot at WrestleMania 34, instead of a random episode of WWE Raw.
