WWE News: Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns address the fans in France

Reigns and Rollins thanked the WWE fans in France

What’s the story?

WWE RAW Superstars Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns addressed the fans in attendance at the live event in Lille, France, following their tag-team match against Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe.

In case you didn’t know...

The WWE roster from both the RAW and SmackDown brands is on a whirlwind tour of Europe, putting on live shows in major metropolitan cities all across the continent. Owing to an injury to Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns has been participating in tag-team matchups to close out the red brand’s live events across the pond.

The heart of the matter

The Big Dog and The Kingslayer joined forces to compete against Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe at the RAW live event in Lille, France this May 8th. Reigns and Rollins emerged victorious in the matchup, following which the duo addressed the fans, thanking them and acknowledging their support.

You can check out a brief glimpse of the segment in the video below:

“Now since this is the only stop on our tour in France, I wanted to take a moment to say ‘Merci Beaucoup!’ Thank you guys very much. We appreciate you. We will be back. (French) Musique!” (Rollins thanks the French fans and calls for the music)

What’s next?

Roman Reigns was initially booked in a feud against Braun Strowman, but may now be diverted into a potential rivalry with Bray Wyatt if one is to believe the rumour mill. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins will likely continue his rivalry with Samoa Joe and is presently riding a strong wave after his win over the latter at WWE Payback.

Author’s Take

Rollins’ recent run as a babyface has really shown a different side of the Architect. The young star has proved his mettle time-and-again inside the ring as well as on the mic; and if he continues to go down the path he’s currently on, the sky is the limit for the Kingslayer.

As for Reigns, I cannot possibly comprehend why the fans choose to boo the living daylights out of the man. In my opinion, he’s one of the hardest workers in the company and is no slouch in the ring either. Granted that his mic skills need a bit of a boost, but he’s human after all – none of us is built perfectly. I say give The Big Dog a chance. Stop booing Roman Reigns!
