Seth Rollins has found a new tag team partner

What's the story?

Well, after news emerged that WWE Superstar Jason Jordan underwent surgery and would be out of action for the foreseeable future emerged tonight, a new tag team partner has been announced for Seth Rollins.

In case you didn't know...

On RAW, Rollins was joined by Roman Reigns for a Tag Team Championship Match against The Bar, one which Jason Jordan would cost them their shot via disqualification. Well, the Architect has a new partner for upcoming live events and it isn't Reigns.

Rollins had previously lost the Raw Tag Team Championships in what was essentially a handicap match at the Royal Rumble after a lengthy spell in the Rumble Match itself when Jordan effectively removed himself from the match with an injury.

The heart of the matter

Seth Rollins will team with Finn Balor to face Sheamus and Cesaro on upcoming house shows, as per PW Insider.

The pair are no strangers to each other, becoming very close as they both rehabbed serious injuries together.Just last week, there was the talk of animosity between the two, but Rollins quickly dispelled that as purely a myth.

It had also been previously rumoured that Balor had been considered to partner Seth Rollins before the former WWE Champion and Mr Money In The Bank had been paired with Jason Jordan, but those rumours were quickly put to bed.

Both men will now team up though to face the current WWE Raw Tag Team Champions at upcoming house shows.

What's next?

Well, who knows if we'll see this pairing on TV? It's pretty unlikely with Balor being paired with Gallows and Anderson to form Balor Club, most recently defeating The Revival on Raw with Karl Anderson as his partner.

I guess we'll need to wait until next week's RAW to find out what's in store for Seth Rollins now that Jason Jordan has been written off the television and is on the road to recovery.

Author's take

Well, this is pretty cool and will be a treat for everyone at the events where Rollins and Balor team up. Both guys are massive fan favourites and incredible in-ring talents, so I'm sure they'll make an entertaining tag team!
