The WWE Network is getting even bigger

What's the story?

The WWE Network is only £9.99 a month and that's about to be totally worth it thanks to a huge slate of new content and shows that is heading its way this year, as shown in a recent advert that aired during the WWE Hall of Fame 2018 ceremony. Most notably, it features the return of Edge and Christian.

In case you didn't know...

The WWE Network isn't just the place to watch Pay-Per-Views, NXT and past episodes of Nitro, the WWE has also released some excellent complimentary programming such as 'Table For 3', 'Ride Along' and their superb documentaries 'WWE 365' and 'WWE 24'

The heart of the matter

The WWE Twitter page thankfully retweeted the video advert that aired during the Hall of Fame revealing all of the new shows that are heading to the network and there were a few pleasant surprises.

First of all the WWE are bringing back the Mae Young Classic Tournament for a second time, and are also bringing back the UK Tournament, which will now be called 'King of the Ring'. This is great news as both tournaments were really good the first time round.

Secondly, the Edge and Christian show is back. I'm very excited about this as the show with those two was one of the better things on the Network a while back!

Author's take

The WWE get a lot of stick for their incessant promotion of the WWE Network, but once you look past that it really is a superb tool for viewing wrestling and enhancing the basic WWE product.
