WWE News: Shinsuke Nakamura's last MMA fight

Shinsuke Nakamura has experimented with MMA before settling on pro-wrestling as his profession of choice

Well it seems like the season of crossing over is upon us again, what with the ground-breaking announcement that Brock Lesnar is set to fight at UFC 200 again being announced earlier today.

But he’s not the only Superstar currently in the employ of the WWE who has forayed into MMA before. Another Superstar who has tried his hand at MMA before is the self-styled King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura.

Not very surprising is it?

A performer who is especially famous for working in a stiff style laced with lethal kicks and catch holds, Nakamura enjoyed a brief stint in MMA during the nascent stages of his pro-wrestling career in the early 2000’s.

He would eventually put an end to his MMA career (3-1-1) and focus entirely on pro-wrestling, becoming well-known around the world for being a great performer and prompting the WWE to court his services.

Now signed up to the NXT band, Nakamura made his debut at the Takeover: Dallas event on the Wrestlemania 32 weekend, straight away pulling off a match of the year contender against Sami Zayn.

Here is the video of his final MMA fight as posted on Wrestlinginc.
