Sin Cara has reportedly suffered an injury at WWE’s SmackDown house show in Madrid, Spain.

Apparently, the popular luchador was competing in a multi-person matchup when the unfortunate incident transpired.

Sin Cara, whose real name is Jorge Arias, has performed for the WWE from 2009. He previously worked without the mask, but rose to prominence after portraying the ‘Sin Cara’ ergo ‘Faceless’ luchador character.

The 40-year-old has a long history of injury issues, and given the video posted below, the injury bug seems to have struck him again:

With the WWE’s blue brand putting on a show in Madrid, Spain, Sin Cara competed in a multi-person matchup that also included Baron Corbin and Sami Zayn. Speaking of which, Corbin went for a clothesline with Sin Cara against the ropes.

In response to the same, Sin Cara ducked and sent Corbin flying outside the ring. However, the masked Superstar landed awkwardly on his leg while performing the aforementioned manoeuvre. He was immediately seen clutching his leg in pain after the spot.

Nevertheless, Sami Zayn briefly continued to attack him, before Sin Cara signalled his legitimate injury to the referee and his co-performers.

Sin Cara is currently being attended by medical staff. The WWE and the Superstar’s representatives are yet to release an official statement regarding the same. Sportskeeda will keep fans updated on the luchador’s condition.

Sin Cara is one the most entertaining high-flyers in the game today, and it’s disheartening to see him writhe in pain as such.

We, here at Sportskeeda, send our prayers to Sin Cara. Here’s wishing him a quick and speedy recovery.
