This week’s SmackDown LIVE! is set to see the first ever Tag Team Beat The Clock challenge

WWE fans are in for a treat this Tuesday during SmackDown LIVE!, as WWE.com has just announced that the show will include the first ever Tag Team Beat The Clock challenge.

The match will feature the teams American Alpha, Breezango, The Colons and The Ascension and the winners of this first ever match format will receive the No. 1 Contender spot for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, the current holder of which are The Usos.

WWE has also announced that Tuesday’s show will open with an exclusive interview by Shinsuke Nakamura, two-time NXT Champion who has been making waves in the WWE Universe ever since he left NJPW for a spot on NXT.

Since being drafted with the blue brand Nakamura hasn’t been fighting while SmackDown LIVE is on air but he has been regularly appearing in the live shows that are held every week.

Other matches on the card include Charlotte vs. Naomi for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, a No-DQ match between Randy Orton and Eric Rowan and a singles match between A.J Styles and Baron Corbin.

All things considered, it looks like SmackDown LIVE! viewers will be getting a good show this week owing to the big matches that have been announced. WWE fans at home are also excited to see Nakamura, The King of Strong Style and we hope we get to see him fight on TV soon.
