What’s the story?
Following this week’s edition of SmackDown Live, former Absolution member Sonya Deville took it to various social media platforms in order to send an intimidating message at her former stablemate and SmackDown Live’s newest General Manager Paige.
In case you didn’t know…
In November of 2017, former Tough Enough competitor Sonya Deville made her main roster debut when she joined Mandy Rose and Paige in order to execute a brutal beatdown on Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, and Bayley.
A week later, the trio of Paige, Deville, and Rose dubbed themselves Absolution and officially started working on the red brand.
During this year’s Superstar Shake-up, Paige was officially announced as the General Manager of SmackDown Live and in the process, the Absolution trio also seemingly came to an disrupt end.
However, both Rose and Deville were also drafted to SmackDown Live, but shortly afterward, GM Paige declared that her former stablemates would not receive any sort of special treatment on the blue brand.
The heart of the matter
As noted, on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, General Manager Paige decided to ban Sonya Deville from ringside during her tag team partner Mandy Rose’s one-on-one match against Becky Lynch.
But, Deville apparently did not take Paige’s actions too kindly, as she took it to her official Twitter and Instagram handles in order to send the following message to her former Absolution leader.
However, it didn’t take long for Paige as well to hit back and respond to Deville as the SD Live GM replied by stating that at the end of the day, it is Paige who is Sonya Deville’s boss and decided to put the Mixed Martial Artist in her rightful place.
What’s next?
Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose have seemingly developed an interesting relationship with GM Paige and it’ll be interesting to note if WWE decides to go ahead with a feud between the two remaining members of Absolution against their former leader.

The Absolution trio was right at the top of their game not long ago. However, ever since the trio’s fallout things have definitely become a lot more interesting and fans might want to keep an eye out for this further developing rivalry between Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, and Paige.
