What's the story?

WWE Superstar Lio Rush recently answered a fan question on Twitter, in regards to him having backstage heat in WWE.

Rush stated that he treats others as equals and has fought for his own equality in the past.

In case you didn't know...

Lio Rush has been a WWE Raw mainstay since a long while. He began managing The Almighty Bobby Lashley upon his heel turn, and has been acting as the mouthpiece for the muscled-up behemoth.

Recently, reports began emerging that Lio Rush had backstage heat after an incident with Finn Balor.

It was also rumored that Rush wasn't happy with being relegated to a minor role on Monday Night Raw, and this didn't sit well with WWE. This week on Raw, Lio Rush was nowhere to be seen, as Bobby Lashley came down to the ring alone, for his segment with The Miz.

It's being reported that Lio Rush won't be featured on the red brand anymore.

The heart of the matter

When a fan asked Rush whether the rumors of him having backstage heat were true, he stated that he has fought for equality in the past.

I believe we are all able to carry our own gear and provisions. I treat others as equals and as a young black male have often had to fight for my own equality.

What's next?

It looks like Lio's run on the top show has come to an end. Although he wasn't happy with his position in the Red Brand, he was getting valuable TV time on a weekly basis. It seems that we will be seeing Rush back on 205 Live in the coming weeks.
