WWE News:  The Dudleyz respond to their WWE Hall Of Fame induction announcement

Bubba
Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley appear at Raw 25

What's the story?

As Sportskeeda reported yesterday, the Dudley Boyz were the second inductee announced for the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame. The ceremony takes place on the Friday before WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Last night during Monday Night Raw, both D-Von and Bubba would tweet out their thanks to the fans' support throughout the years.

In case you didn't know...

D-Von and Bubba Ray formed the Dudley Boyz tag team 22 years ago in 1996 while in ECW. They would go on to become the most decorated tag team of all time with 8 tag team championships in ECW, three tag team championships in TNA and 10 tag team championships in the WWE.

The heart of the matter

As previously mentioned, D-Von and Bubba Ray posted on Twitter during Monday Night Raw just after the television announcement. Take a look at those tweets below:

D-Von is currently working for the WWE as a backstage agent, while Bubby Ray is still under contract with Ring of Honor. They made an appearance together last week for the special Raw 25 edition of Monday Night Raw where they would 3D Heath Slater through a table.

The Dudley Boyz join Goldberg as the currently announced inductees for the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame Class. The ceremony takes place at the Smoothie King Center on Friday, April 6th. The same location as NXT Takeover: New Orleans, as well as the Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live episodes after WrestleMania.

What's next?

Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for further information regarding the WWE Hall Of Fame. Some names rumoured to be inducted include Bam Bam Bigelow, Ivory and Kid Rock.

Author's take

The photo that Bubba Ray posted says it all about the Dudleyz, they have won a LOT of championships. An induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame is absolutely deserving for this tag team.

It'll be interesting to see who inducts them into the Hall Of Fame. I'd like to see either Paul Heyman, Matt and Jeff Hardy, or Edge and Christian.
