What’s the story?

In a recent interview with TMZ, The Miz said that he’s a bigger star than Brock Lesnar.

Additionally, The Miz also revealed that his dream opponent would be none other than himself.

In case you didn’t know…

The Miz started off as a reality show star, before making it to the big leagues of sports-entertainment, cementing his spot on the WWE’s main roster.

The Miz and Brock Lesnar both presently compete for the WWE’s RAW brand.

The heart of the matter

Upon being probed regarding his pick in the Brock Lesnar (RAW) vs AJ Styles (SmackDown) matchup at Survivor Series, The Miz stated that he would pick Lesnar over the current WWE champion, Styles.

Furthermore, The Miz explained that he is the entire show (Monday Night RAW), whereas Lesnar is simply ‘on’ the show. Besides, the A-Lister was asked about his dream opponent, to which he replied—

“I want to clone myself and go against me.”

What’s next?

WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz will compete against United States Champion Baron Corbin at Survivor Series PPV on November 19th.

Meanwhile, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will face off against WWE Champion, AJ Styles, at the same event.

Author’s take

The Miz is one of the best trash-talkers in the game today, and his comments regarding Brock Lesnar are just hype and promotional banter rather than his true beliefs.

Nevertheless, if there's a potential showdown between The Miz and Brock Lesnar— it has to be a full-blown feud and not a one-off segment/match—come to fruition, the fans would tune in, if not for the match, then for the epic verbal battle between the A-Lister and the Beast’s advocate Paul Heyman.
