The A-Lister is ready to reclaim his intercontinental championship at RAW 25

What’s the story?

After wrapping up The Marine 6, WWE Superstar The Miz made his return on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. Kurt Angle announced that the A-Lister will have a chance to regain the Intercontinental Championship in a match against Roman Reigns at the 25th anniversary of the flagship show.

The Miz sent out a warning to Reigns ahead of their match. The WWE star's Tweet captured it all!

In case you didn’t know...

The Miz and Roman Reigns faced each other on the November 20 episode of Raw, which resulted in the 'Awesome' one losing his title and ending his reign after 169 days. It seems pretty obvious that he now seeks retribution against The Big Dog.

The two men will square off in two weeks!

The heart of the matter

The Miz has proven time and time again to be a great heel and has decided to take the first shot on Twitter, sending a strong message to his opponent. After laying him out with the Skull Crushing Finale, Miz is pretty confident that history will repeat itself.

What's next?

Roman Reigns is entering the Royal Rumble match and he's currently the top pick to take on Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 34. Unless WWE wants to do a champion vs champion match, it seems logical that Roman will lose the Intercontinental Championship and we can't think of a better candidate to hold that title than The Miz.

The Awesome One will also team up with the undefeated Asuka in the upcoming Mixed Match Challenge, which is set to premiere January 16 on Facebook Watch.

But for now, gear up for a huge Championship match, in two weeks!

Authors take

The Miz was voted wrestler of 2017 by Rolling Stone and he has already declared that 2018 will be more awesome. The leader of the Miztourage deserves to have a top spot on the Wrestlemania card, expecially after the loss he suffered on the big stage, last year.
