Forbes just released their Highest-Paid Actors 2019 list and The Rock topped the list at US$89.4 million. The list covers the earnings from June 1, 2018, to June 1, 2019. It's amazing how The Rock has come from humble beginnings to being the biggest movie star in the world today.
When The Rock started wrestling, he had a guarantee of US$40 per match. He was wrestling in "used car dealerships", and people were able to buy cars and watch wrestling at the same time. It's probably what motivates Dwayne Johnson every day and that's what led him to achieve success worldwide.
