Fans rose to their feet as The Undertaker returned to the sight of his Monday Night Raw debut for the 25th Anniversary.

The Undertaker returned to Monday Night Raw at the Manhattan Center and walked to the ring without signature parts of his trademark entrance such as the smoke and dark lighting.

After gazing into the sea of fans in attendance, The Undertaker talked about his 25 years as a wrestler in the WWE. He mentioned some of his biggest rivals and superstars he’s defeated including 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Kane, Mankind and others.

The Undertaker then said that it was time for all the WWE superstars he had faced until now to “truly rest in peace” before exiting the ring.

The return of "The Deadman" marks the first time he’s been seen on WWE programming since the Raw before WrestleMania 33 where The Phenom proclaimed his victory before his inevitable defeat against Roman Reigns.

Some fans believe his ambiguous speech was done to make fans think he will retire. However, The Undertaker is rumoured to have a match with John Cena at WrestleMania 34 which is caused many fans to doubt these retirement rumours.

Many fans expected Cena and The Undertaker to have a run-in to set up a match for WrestleMania, but The Undertaker never showed up on Raw and Cena seems to be teasing a feud with Elias.

What Taker’s words meant still seem unclear, but it does seem like his rumoured retirement at WrestleMania 33 might be more than just a rumour as of right now.
