WWE News: Top superstars react to their Hell In a Cell matches
What's the story?
WWE Hell In a Cell 2017 has continued to throw out some surprising results with Baron Corbin and Rusev commenting on their respective matches on Twitter, but what did these two superstars have to say about their Hell In a Cell performances?
In case you didn't know...
Rusev was out to assert his dominance after Randy Orton interrupted 'Rusev day' by hitting an RKO out of nowhere on Aiden English and eventually hitting an RKO on the Bulgarian brute himself. Unfortunately for Rusev, he was unable to avoid an RKO on the night and left Hell In A Cell as the loser.
Baron Corbin, on the other hand, had challenged AJ Styles for the United States Championship after a small rivalry. However, Tye Dillinger got himself inserted into the match after beating Corbin clean in last week's SmackDown Live. This turned out to be a good thing for Corbin though, as he managed to steal the win and the US Title from Styles who had just taken Dillinger down with a Phenomenal Forearm.
The heart of the matter
Naturally, Baron Corbin was typically eloquent about his title win, not being one to miss the opportunity to rub it in the face of all of his detractors. Classic Corbin!
Meanwhile, Rusev was a little disconsolate. However, he managed to find some solace out there and wanted to share that with everyone else to lift their moods after his loss. Sadly for Rusev fans, the Bulgarian Brute also hinted that he probably wouldn't be getting a title shot anytime soon following his loss.
Rusev will look to rebound from his loss, whilst Corbin will look to keep that US title as long as possible. You can absolutely expect that both men will be involved in SmackDown Live this coming Tuesday.
Both of these matches had endings that I didn't particularly agree with, however, Corbin has enough heat to carry a feud with someone as the US champ and I'm sure Rusev will go on to do something entertaining. Thus, we will try to cope up with these decisions while the story unfolds.
