What's the story?
This upcoming season of Total Divas was allegedly going to focus heavily on the wedding of Nikki Bella and John Cena. However, now that the high-profile WWE wrestling couple have split, Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio, has suggested that the season is being re-shot to incorporate this.

John Cena and Nikki Bella had been together for a long time, with the multiple-time world champion finally, and publicly, proposing to Nikki Bella at WrestleMania. Their wedding was set to take place this year but has been called off following the announcement that the couple have split.
The heart of the matter
Dave Meltzer addressed the next season of Total Divas on the Wrestling Observer Radio and indicated that the season was supposed to revolve around the wedding of Nikki Bella and John Cena, as it has with previous Superstar weddings like Natalya and Tyson Kidd and Lana and Rusev.
However, due to the breakup, the series is now being re-shot. Meltzer goes on to indicate that the re-shoots aren't just to remove the focus from Cena and Bella's wedding, but to actually include the breakup and the aftermath on the show.

Personally, I don't think I like the idea of the problems between Nikki Bella and John Cena that caused them to break being aired so publicly on reality television. However, I'm sure this now makes both shows a must-watch for many people who can't wait to see all the juicy details of this high-profile split.
