The WWE’s Tribute To The Troops event has reportedly returned to an outdoor setting for the first time in several years.
The WWE will be taping the event in or around a ‘ship’ setting for the first time in many years. WWE Superstars have been asserting their enthusiasm regarding the same on social media—with some of the posts noted below—
In case you didn’t know…
The WWE has held the annual Tribute To The Troops event since 2003, in collaboration with the US Armed Forces.
Although the events were initially taped in an outdoor setting, the WWE later resorted to proceed with the tapings in indoor arenas like they do their major shows Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live.
The heart of the matter
The WWE’s Tribute To The Troops event features not only the matches/performances but also interactions and stories highlighting the soldiers and their messages to family & friends.
Furthermore, the fact that WWE has now reverted back to taping this year’s Tribute To The Troops event outdoors, has set the professional wrestling community abuzz.
Additionally, one ought to note that Tribute To The Troops 2017 will air on December 14th, 2017; with tapings commencing tonight. This is the very first time in many years that WWE will tape the show on or around a ship setting.
