WWE News: Twitter Reacts to AJ Styles vs Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series 2017

Survivor Series 2017 had many highlights but one of the biggest matches certainly delivered on many levels. Each brand's champion faced their counterpart including Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles.

When this match was Jinder Mahal vs Brock Lesnar there was still a fair amount of intrigue, but, once AJ Styles was inserted into the picture, people really took interest in this bout . Nobody knew what to expect when these two pro wrestling legends stepped in the ring with each other but they certainly brought their A-Games to Houston.

It wasn't as cut and dry as taking someone to Suplex City like it normally is for Brock Lesnar because he was squaring off against The Phenomenal One. AJ Styles wouldn't go down without a fight and brought everything he could to topple The Beast Incarnate.

There were a few nail-biting moments when it even looked like AJ Styles would come away with the victory. But in the end, Brock Lesnar plucked AJ Styles out of the air to avoid another Phenomonal Forearm. Lesnar quickly launched AJ Styles into an F5 and pulled down the win. But it was not an easy contest for sure.

In what might have been Brock Lesnar's most difficult confrontation since his defeat at last year's Survivor Series against Goldberg, The Beast Incarnate looked like he was on the ropes a few times, especially when AJ Styles had Lesnar locked in a Calf Crusher.

But Lesnar's superior skill, strength, and ring awareness helped see him to the finish line and pull off a win in Houston. The fact that AJ Styles sold like nobody's business and made Brock Lesnar look incredibly strong really helped the situation as well.

Survivor Series 2017 featured this great match where both competitors had the ingredients to make a gourmet recipe for everyone's enjoyment. Naturally, several people took to social media in order to show their pleasure and gratitude for being able to witness this spectacular marquee matchup.
