What's the story?

Having won the WWE United States Championship at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, AJ Styles is beaming with all the confidence in the world. So much so that the leader of the recently reunited Club openly mocked NXT's Undisputed Era on Twitter earlier today.

Styles' message has certainly caught the eye of The Undisputed Era, as the group's leader Adam Cole and his fellow stablemate Roderick Strong have sent a warning to 'The Phenomenal One'.

In case you didn't know...

In the build-up to Extreme Rules 2019, AJ Styles turned heel once again after he had initially failed to win the WWE US Championship from Ricochet on an episode of Monday Night Raw.

Styles' couldn't handle the loss, as he brutally attacked then-US Champion Ricochet along with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows and reunited The Club once again.

At Extreme Rules, Styles won the US Championship for the third time, thanks to outside interference from The Club.

On the other side of WWE, another former Bullet Club member Adam Cole is also the current leader of another top faction, The Undisputed Era. Cole, who is currently in his first reign as NXT Champion, is leading the Undisputed Era consisting of tag team specialists Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Roderick Strong.

The heart of the matter

Current NXT Champion and leader of The Undisputed Era, Adam Cole decided to send a warning to AJ Styles after the latter had mocked Cole's faction in the first place.

In Cole's latest tweet, the NXT Champion warned the current US Champion by asking him to be careful in terms of what he wishes for. It can surely be said that Cole didn't take Styles' jibe too kindly, as he sent out the following message to 'The Phenomenal One'.

Undisputed Era member Roderick Strong also joined the party on social media, as he referred to Styles' theme song in his tweet and claimed that The Club wants none.

What's next?

As of right now, The Club is engaged in a feud with Ricochet on Raw. But with all the back-and-forth teasing between The Undisputed Era and The Club, could we possibly witness a dream match between the two factions shortly?
