What’s the story?

The WWE has posted a few details on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

Apparently, John Cena has been advertised for tonight’s edition of RAW. Besides, several other details regarding the show have also been revealed.

In case you didn’t know…

The WWE Universe is presently on the Road to Wrestlemania—a time at which the WWE traditionally puts forth several pivotal segments on the weekly editions of RAW and SmackDown.

Tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW features the build-up to the RAW-branded Elimination Chamber PPV event that takes place later this month.

The heart of the matter

Apart from an Elimination Chamber qualifying match—Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns—the WWE is yet to confirm any other matches for the show.

Nevertheless, potential female Superstars who could compete in the first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber Match are also likely to be revealed, apart from The Miz’s next storyline/feud. Additionally, tonight’s episode shall also showcase The Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus) and The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder).

Furthermore, John Cena has also been confirmed to be appearing on tonight’s RAW, however, the WWE is yet to reveal a potential opponent for the Leader of the Cenation.

What’s next?

Tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW (February 5th) airs from the Wells Fargo Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

The episode has been highly-awaited by professional wrestling fans the world over, particularly owing to the speculation as to how the historic Women’s Elimination Chamber Match that takes place on February 25th shapes up.

Author’s take

The 2018 calendar year is turning out to be one of the most important years in WWE history.

The year saw the WWE put forth the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble Match, which is now being followed by the ladies notching up another feather in their proverbial caps, by competing in the fearsome, unforgiving structure known as the Elimination Chamber.

Besides, the fact that WWE still doesn’t have a Wrestlemania feud lined up for one of its biggest Superstars, John Cena, does indeed seem fishy. Perhaps a showdown with a certain Phenom could be on the cards for ‘Supercena’.
