The WWE has opened its doors off late to talent from other rival promotions much more than it used to before. And whether they are featured exclusively in NXT or absorbed into the main roster, the WWE has given them a fair shot instead of outright burying them as has been its modus operandi over the years.
And the latest news to filter through, as reported in www.allwrestlingnews.com, seems to suggest that one more such acquisition is on the cards. Only this time the wrestler in question is former WWE Superstar John Morrison who currently plies his trade at Lucha Underground.
The report suggests that Vince McMahon has at least enquired with people close to the wrestler as to the details of his contract with the rival promotion, although no formal contact has been made yet it would seem.
Morrison has also been reported to have remarked that he is a big fan of Seth Rollins and that he would love to wrestle a match with him, while also claiming that he would only wrestle Roman Reigns in 10 years time when he “hopefully figure(d) out how to work.”
