WWE News: Why John Cena missed Raw

What's the story?

John Cena lost at No Mercy so there weren't a lot of people really expecting him the next night on Raw. It turns out he did have other obligations because he needed to support his fiance Nikki Bella as she competed on National television.

In case you didn't know...

John Cena is a very busy guy. He has movies popping up all over the place and looks like he will soon have a Hollywood blockbuster soon.

It's no strange thing to see Cena one place at 8 am and find him across the country just a few hours later. As soon as he's done with one task he seems to be on to the next in a neverending whirlwind media frenzy.

The heart of the matter

Nikki Bella is currently competing on Dancing With The Stars and she's still hanging in there. Her massive WWE fan base is probably helping a lot and she's a pretty good dancer, too, so that also helps.

John Cena wasn't on Raw because he was in attendance at the Dancing With The Stars taping which airs at the same time as WWE's weekly Monday night show.

WWE also sent Charlotte Flair to the DWTS set to watch the show from the audience to watch Nikki Bella place fifth among the twelve competing teams.

What's next?

The longer Nikki Bella is able to stay on Dancing With The Stars will ultimately be better for herself, Cena, and WWE as a whole.

WWE loves having their Superstars take part in this kind of high exposure activity and they will most likely be sending more of Nikki Bella's friends and family to the show as the weeks progress.

Nikki Bella's appearance on Dancing With The Stars could be a big deal, especially if she wins. Not only will it give her amazing bragging rights but it will help make her an even bigger household name.

John Cena will be there for Nikki Bella however he can. His schedule might be ridiculous at this point but he seems to find the time for Nikki.
