WrestleMania is heading back to New Jersey

Ahead of today’s press conference to formally announce the event, the official logo for WrestleMania 35 in New Jersey has been revealed. The show, which will take place in early April 2019, will mark the second time that MetLife Stadium has hosted the showcase of the immortals following WrestleMania 29 which was main evented by John Cena vs The Rock.

As you can see below, WWE has decided to go with a logo that seems to bring together elements of New York City, as well as the WM31 and WM33 logos. For the fifth year running the roman numeral associated with the show will not be featured, which is something that has been reportedly implemented by Vince McMahon in the years following WrestleMania XXX.

The rumours have been circulating for months now regarding the actual confirmation for the event, with some believing it would happen as far back as January. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, and we've been forced to wait and see whether or not it'd be New Jersey-New York or Philadelphia who got the nod - until now.

While the logo reveal may not seem like a big moment to some, it serves as the official confirmation for fans who will want to start saving their pennies in anticipation of making the trip to The Big Apple next year.

The travel packages for the event will likely go on sale around October time, meanwhile, single tickets for specific shows such as Raw, SmackDown Live and NXT will be sold separately over the course of the following months.

In terms of the press conference, which is set to begin imminently, John Cena, Ronda Rousey, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are said to be among the names present who will begin the road to WM35.
