For weeks we have been reporting about the rumours of potential Brock Lesnar opponent for SummarSlam and yesterday the big mystery was revealed. It seems that the rumours have been right all along and it will The Viper who will face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
Yesterday, we reported that Randy Orton is Brock Lesnar’s opponent for SummerSlam. Though no official confirmation has been received as of then, credible sources stated that it will be The Viper vs The Beast at SummerSlam. During last night’s telecast of SmackDown, WWE confirmed that it will indeed be Randy Orton who will be facing Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
Randy Orton, who has been sidelined for months due to a shoulder injury, will be returning to action soon. Brock Lesnar, who will be making his UFC return this weekend by facing Mark Hunt, is scheduled to return few weeks before SummerSlam to build up his match at SummerSlam. Paul Heyman, Lesnar’s advocate, will return to television soon to start the buildup for the match, even before Lesnar returns.
