The heart of the matter

Following their two classic matches on the blue brand, The Wrestling Observer's respected journalist Dave Meltzer has shed some light on WWE is currently planning with Andrade and his on-screen nemesis Rey Mysterio.

According to Meltzer, the current plan seems like both Mysterio and Andrade are rather likely to end their program as a babyface tag team with, with WWE possibly looking at the latter as a top Hispanic babyface for the company.

“While not a sure thing, the direction looks to be that Mysterio and Andrade end their program as a babyface tag team, with Andrade getting the rub from Mysterio as part of strengthening of the tag team division.”- Meltzer stated (quote via SEScoops)

What's next?

As of right now, both Andrade and Rey Mysterio are expected to be a part of the upcoming 30-man Royal Rumble match later this weekend at Chase Fields in Phoenix, Arizona.
