What's the story?

A bunch of WWE Superstars have come out in support of Kofi Kingston, who was recently screwed over again by Vince McMahon on this week's SmackDown Live.

The Superstars took to Twitter to extend their support to Kingston, whose WrestleMania title shot is still up in the air.

In case you didn't know...

Kofi Kingston has had quite an eventful past month. His performance in the gauntlet match and The Elimination Chamber led to the rise of KofiMania, with fans clamoring for WWE to give him a title shot.

Vince McMahon has been doing everything in his power to make sure that Kofi stays in the mid-card. Kingston was removed from the Fastlane WWE title match and was put in a Handicap match against The Bar.

On this week's SmackDown Live, Kofi ran the gauntlet again and ended up winning the whole thing when he pinned The Viper, Randy Orton. This wasn't the end of his struggle as Vince came out and added Daniel Bryan to the match, who went on to pin Kofi and shatter his WrestleMania dreams.

The New Day has been pondering on quitting WWE ever since.

The heart of the matter

Several WWE Superstars have taken to Twitter and come out in support of Kofi Kingston.

"The Architect" Seth Rollins seems to be disgusted by McMahon's actions too. He posted a Youtube link in reply to Big E's video that mentioned how they were not meant to be more than mid-carders.

What's next?

As The Grandest Stage Of Them All is almost upon us, Kofi Kingston's future hangs in the balance. The New Day might end up leaving the company or we might see a miracle getting unfold on next week's SmackDown Live.
