– The WWE have been trying to build up a story between Goldust and R-Truth for a long time now. The scenario changed when Goldust chose Fandango as his partner while R-Truth went with Tyler Breeze.
After weeks of tag team and singles match-ups between these four superstars there has been some headway on Smackdown. The only good thing is that the WWE has at least given something for these four superstars to do.
SmackDown saw a tag team match between Goldust and Fandango taking on R-Truth and Tyler Breeze. Halfway through the match, Breeze attacked Truth and proceeded to attack Goldust. Instead of saving his partner, Fandango assaulted Goldust with a clothesline who was then covered by Breeze for the three count.
Fandango was seen talking to Tom Phillips backstage who asked him about going against his own partner to lose the match. Fandango replied very mysteriously with Tyler Breeze standing beside him which could suggest that there may be a formation of a new tag team of Fandango and Tyler Breeze.
Breeze and Fandango have been good performers struck with a bad gimmick which the fans haven't connected with. They seem to be doomed but a fresh tag team run might just be the thing to revive their careers.
