WWE News: WWE teases performance by a mystery Superstar during WrestleMania weekend

What's the story?

WWE recently took to Twitter to announce that during the WrestleMania weekend at New Orleans, there will be a mystery performance by a WWE Superstar at the famed Razzoo Bar on Bourbon Street on April 5th at 9 PM, three days before WrestleMania 34.

In case you didn’t know…

The Razzoo Bar is situated in the heart of the French Quarter on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana. The place is a premier nightclub well known for its high energy music.

WWE is planning to kickstart the WrestleMania weekend at Razzoo. Other events in the weekend include NXT: TakeOver, the Hall of Fame ceremony, WrestleMania Axxess and WrestleMania itself on Sunday, April 8th.

The heart of the matter

Since the Razzoo Bar and Patio is affiliated with music, the performance will probably be a concert of sorts. Wrestling Inc reports that Elias is speculated to be the Superstar giving a mystery performance at the venue.

In a recent interview with Sportskeeda, when asked if he will be performing at WrestleMania, this is what Elias had to say:

"At WrestleMania, the performance will be something that you've not seen Elias do yet. We call it the grandest spectacle of them all right? I'm the grandest performer on Monday Night RAW, I'm the grandest performer in WWE. It's only fitting that at WrestleMania, the biggest show we have, I put on the biggest performance you've ever seen."

At this point, it is not clear whether Elias will be performing at the main show on Sunday, April 8th, or if he is indeed the mystery performer teased by WWE.

When it comes to music, another popular performer that comes to mind is Chris Jericho. But, nothing about Jericho appearing during the WrestleMania weekend has been announced as of this writing.

What's next?

It is a shame that Elias is not scheduled for a match at WrestleMania. He will most probably be a part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal match.

Another speculation for Elias heading into New Orleans is him being Braun Strowman's partner in the Tag Team Championship match against The Bar.
