Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho had a tremendous feud leading up to their Wrestle Kingdom 12 match

What's the story?

The list of spectacular pro wrestlers to appear on Chris Jericho's cruise, The Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea, continues to grow. Last week, Jericho teased a mega announcement, and he delivered today via Instagram.

In case you didn't know...

Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega had a classic battle at Wrestle Kingdom 12 last month in Tokyo, Japan. It all started at Power Struggle last November when Jericho made a surprise appearance on the screen to challenge Omega. From there they would attack each other at events and press conferences until their match on 4 January.

The heart of the matter

Many speculated that Jericho's mega announcement was Kenny Omega, based on his wording, and they were correct. Take a look at Jericho's Instagram video from Tuesday.

Omega joins the already impressive lineup of current and past pro wrestlers that includes Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion Dalton Castle, Jay Lethal, Marty Scrull, Diamond Dallas Page, Raven, Rey Mysterio, and many more.

The cruise starts on 27 October leaving Miami, Florida and will be heading towards the Bahamas lasting until 31 October.

What's next?

Chris Jericho is about to kick off the United States leg of his tour with Fozzy. Their next show is on 28 February at the House Of Blues in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Next up for Kenny Omega is Honor Rising where stars from NJPW clash with the stars of ROH. He will be in a six-man tag match with Kota Ibushi and Chase Owens as they take on Bullet Club members Cody Rhodes, Marty Scull, and Hangman Page on 23 February, Friday

Author's take

For those who are planning to take the Cruise of Jericho, this was the announcement everyone was waiting for. Kenny Omega is one of the top three pro wrestlers on the planet right now and his addition to the cruise is a major one.

At the time of this writing, it is unknown if Omega is going to be in the Sea of Honor tournament, and if not, he could have a special rematch with Chris Jericho. Either way, the fans who will be on the Cruise of Jericho will not be disappointed when The Cleaner comes aboard.
