What’s the story?

Earlier this week, WWE legend and 16-time World Champion John Cena claimed that he would love to join the Bullet Club. Following Cena’s claim, Bullet Club member and one half of the Young Bucks, Nick Jackson responded to Cena’s statement earlier today on Twitter.

In case you didn’t know…

In a recent Facebook live question and answers session, John Cena labelled the Bullet Club as an “Elite Club” and for those who are unaware The Elite is a subgroup within the Bullet Club, which currently consists of Kenny Omega, Nick Jackson, and Matt Jackson—collectively known as The Young Bucks.

Additionally, Cena stated in the video that he is beyond his years and he joining the BC would be like them getting a grizzled veteran in the form of Cena.

The heart of the matter

Earlier in the day, one of the current members of the Bullet Club faction, Nick Jackson decided to quote Cena’s video on Twitter and responded to the leader of The Cenation. Nick stated in his tweet that he would love to have Cena in the Bullet Club, Jackson’s exact words on Twitter were: We’d love to have you John Cena.

Cena is one of the greatest ever to step foot into the WWE, however, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion hasn’t done anything big outside of WWE and him potentially joining the BC in the future will certainly be one of the greatest moments in Professional Wrestling history.

What’s next?

The Young Bucks have always had the mentality of having fun with other wrestlers and big stars on their social media. The Jackson brothers have also previously asked former WWE Champion and current UFC fighter CM Punk to join the Bullet Club and teased a potential move to New Japan Pro Wrestling for the Chicago native.

However, as of right now, the odds of either John Cena or CM Punk joining the Bullet Club are quite low but NJPW has recently claimed that would love to have a working relationship with the WWE at some point so we might just see Cena sporting the black and white of the Biz Cliz in the future.

Author’s Take

John Cena claiming that he would like to join the Bullet Club is all part of fun and games, but that being said if Cena does joins the BC in the future then it will definitely be the greatest moment in Pro Wrestling since Hulk Hogan joining and forming the New World Order.
