Fruits of a revolution

The latest episode of NXT comes on the heels of a revolution that took place on Raw this. The women are there to make a massive statement and this week they main evented and stole the entire show.Stephanie Mcmahon may well be the voice of this division but the presence, calibre and performance of these women speak for themselves. An uber popular babyface made his return and got us all riled up for the future. And even though Owens has moved to the main roster, his legacy will live on in NXT and there are some hopes that he may be back to close out his feud withSamoa Joe and Sami Zayn or will that ever continue to Raw?Anyway, here are the 5 points to note from this week's show-

#1 Setting an example

Fruits of a revolution

The level of interest in the main roster’s divas division has monumentally increased and it was highly expected from the three of the Big 4 from NXT. They have certainly changed the way the divas division will be percieved in one single, solitary night.

This week on the show that witnessed their rise, Charlotte and Sasha Banks showed why they are such a big deal. They main evented and surely provided the best way to end a particular show.

They had a great match, they hugged and all of this symbolized how great their respective journys have been. They made NXT relevant and they can very well do that to the main roster’s divas division.

#2 All Red

Get ready for an All Red NXT

Well, Eva Marie is all set to make her debut next week, for better or worse. That one episode may decide her fate and once and for all conclude if she can be considered the big deal that everyone around is making her out to be. The announcers, the general manager of NXT, the trainers are all talking about her on scree. She is certainly their newest person to push to relevance.

And since she has so many well documented detractors, she may as well embrace the heel-dom.

Next week NXT promises to get ‘All Red’ .

#3 Bliss-ful

Alexa Bliss is making heads turn

Speaking of heels and women, let’s just continue the trend and accentuate the fact that how well- rounded characters there are overall in NXt. Alexa Bliss was a babyface not many people actually cared about. The sparkles and the all blue attire did not really get her uber over. But her heel avatar is especially a stand out. So are those red highlights on her hair.

She’s been a revelation as a heel and her momentum continued this week as well.

Let’s just say that her heel-ness is the USP of the tag team that she manages.

#4 THE babyface returns

Gone for a while

Sami Zayn is a great babyface. Period. He’s greatness when it comes to making the audience believe in hope. He returned to NXT with his injury there for all to see. His recovery will take quite a lot of time. Six months, to be precise. And given that we’re already in July, it will be somewhere around 2016 that the biggest babyface in NXT will make a return.

He promised to fight for the NXT Championship again and made sure that nobody forgets that he still has some unfinished business with Kevin Owens.

How great will it be for these two to continue their rivalry on the main roster?

It’ll be poetic, it’ll be awesome.

#5 What is up?

Creative-has-nothing-for-you moment.

Samoa Joe has a great presence but apart from his brief feud with Kevin Owens, there hasn’t been anything monumental about him yet.The booking that he’s been subjected to is not making him seem more intriguing as we move forward. What has WWE essentially learnt from squashes?

Such matches haven’t exactly worked their magic into making anyone relevant. Just ask Ryback or worse, Lord Tensai.

Samoa Joe had a squash match at NXT this week. That’s not promising at all.
