The monster heel faction, led by legendary manager Paul Ellering, laid waste to American Alphas after they had lost their NXT Tag Team Championships to the Ascension at NXT Takeover : The End.
The segment, and especially the ferocity portrayed during the attack, caused quite the stir amongst the watching audience at Full Sail, as they were moved to direct “Who are you?” chants at the two behemoths, Gzim Selmani and Sunny Dhinsa.
It was reported by WrestlingInc.com that the duo made their debuts at the NXT tapings today, along with Paul Ellering of course, and brutally squashed two jobbers.
Also, Shinsuke Nakamura reportedly came out and interrupted Finn Balor during a promo, stating that he knows that he has to go through him to get to the NXT Championship, and it is expected that the two will be in a program going forward.
In other results, Tye Dillinger was defeated by Andre “Cien” Almas again, TM 61 defeated Blake and Murphy and Carmella defeated Tessa Blanchard by submission.
