NXT UK's Ilja Dragunov was interrupted by Pete Dunne
Ilja Dragunov was at the Capitol Wrestling Center for the first time ahead of his rematch with WALTER at NXT TakeOver 36. He said that from where he came from, words didn't mean anything but his pain and struggle had meant something. Dragunov said that he had put all the strength he had into his fists and added that he would do the unthinkable at TakeOver.
At this point, Pete Dunne's music hit and he made his way down to the ring. Dunne said if he had stayed in the UK he would have taken Dragunov out a long time ago. Dragunov was ready to face Pete Dunne later on in the night on NXT and the Bruiserweight accepted the challenge.
LA Knight interviewed backstage
LA Knight was backstage with his butler Cameron Grimes. Knight said that Grimes was destined to be a butler and there was nothing special about him. LA Knight then made Grimes put the Million Dollar Championship on his shoulder as the segment came to an end.
