Ciampa and Thatcher sent a message to Ridge Holland on NXT
Ciampa said that Ridge Holland wasn't on the level of either himself or Timothy Thatcher on NXT. He said there was no way Holland would make a name for himself in the black and gold brand at their expense. Timothy Thatcher interrupted and laid out the challenge to Holland.
NXT Breakout tournament semifinal 1: Trey Baxter vs Odyssey Jones
Odyssey Jones faced Trey Baxter next in the first semi-final of the WWE NXT Breakout tournament.
Odyssey Jones had the power and size advantage and he made the most of it early on, swatting Baxter away. Trey Baxter adjusted his gameplan and went for Jones' leg, trying to ground the bigger man but he couldn't manage to keep it up for long.
Jones hit back with a splash in the corner. Odyssey followed it up with a spinning uranage slam and that was enough for him to pick up the win.
