Earlier today, Dominic Dijakovic was interviewed about his victory over Damian Priest last week. While he believed he deserved an NXT North American Championship opportunity, he felt that Keith Lee and William Regal didn't see things the same way. He was interrupted by Killian Dain, who felt he was next in line and looking to put Dijakovic down.

Dijakovic took the fight to Dain early. Dain set up for a powerslam into the steps but Dijakovic broke out, instead of using the steps for a cannonball. Before he could hit the discus clothesline, though, Dain cut him down with The Divide.
Back from the break, Dijakovic hammered Dain with a back elbow and dumped him with a release suplex. A sit-out chokeslam gave him a near fall. As he moved up top, Dain rushed to the second rope (the most dangerous rope) for a superplex. Both men crashed from on high all the way down to the mat.
Both men traded heavy strikes, but a cyclone kick took Dain down. Dijakovic missed a top rope moonsault and was driven into the corner with a shotgun dropkick followed by a running senton. The Vader Bomb was blocked as Dijakovic brought him down on his shoulders for Feast Your Eyes.
Results: Dominik Dijakovic defeated Killian Dain via pinfall.
After the match, it was made official that Dijakovic would face Keith Lee for the NXT North American Championship at NXT TakeOver: Portland.
Backstage, the Era were still looking for Ciampa. They ran across Kushida, who was immediately beaten down. Bronson Reed came across the scene and attempted to stand up to the group, but a surprise leaping knee from Roderick Strong left him on the ground.
