Mauro Ranallo attempted to lead a conversation between Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor, but it broke down quickly. Balor said that Gargano would never be the next Finn Balor. Gargano said that's fine because he's the first and only Johnny Wrestling.

Gargano said he wants NXT Balor because if the Balor that lost to Bobby Lashley week after week on RAW shows up, he'll run right through him. He promised to drive the NXT flag straight through Balor's heart, but the Prince stated that he doesn't have one.

Mercedes Martinez vs Kacy Catanzaro

Catanzaro was immediately planted with a Double-A spinebuster. She kicked out, allowing Martinez to set up a stalling suplex. Catanzaro escaped, tripping her up and hitting a running dropkick and a running hurricanrana.

A hurricanrana pinfall nearly gave Catanzaro the upset victory. As she set up for a springboard maneuver, Martinez knocked her to the floor. Catanzaro was driven into the barricade repeatedly.

Back inside, a Fisherman Buster ended Catanzaro's night.

Results: Mercedes Martinez defeated Kacy Catanzaro via pinfall.

Backstage, Cathy Kelly asked Rhea Ripley about her challenge to Charlotte Flair on Monday Night RAW. The NXT Women's Champion said that, for the moment, her focus is on Bianca Belair.
