Bobby Roode(c) vs Drew McIntyre - NXT Championship

Drew McIntyre had a great entrance in traditional Scottish style with bagpipes. Obviously, Bobby Roode got his Glorious entrance.

The size difference between the two was very noticeable. Drew overpowered Roode at first, but Roode got the edge with a few chest slaps and nearly hitting a Glorious DDT. He then performed his signature "Glorious" taunt.

The action eventually went ringside, which culminated with McIntyre slamming Roode against the ringpost. As in the last match, there were duelling chants.

When Roode finally got ahold of McIntyre, he worked on his body by elbowing his throat and stomping the body. The match went at a relatively slow pace from then, with Roode putting McIntyre in a head lock.

The next notable spot was when McIntyre was caught in the turnbuckles and tossed Bobby Roode halfway across the ring. Roode faked being knocked out as McIntyre was going for a Claymore kick and tried to pin the challenger, but failed to do so.

McIntyre did land the ultra shock DDT but it failed to put the champion away. Roode managed to land a Liger bomb on McIntyre but didn't put the challenger away.

Drew did manage to hit the Claymore kick, but Roode's legs touched the bottom rope at the right time. Roode rolled out of the ring and stayed there, and McIntyre hit the most insane looking tope suicida! A man who is 6 foot 5 should not be able to do that! McIntyre sure is something else.

As he got Roode back inside the ring, he got ready for a Claymore kick, only to be met with a spine buster by the champion. Roode failed to hit the Glorious DDT for the first time, but after another sequence, Roode hit a spinning Glorious DDT.

Roode hit another Glorious DDT and looked for a third one to seal it, but Roode headbutted him and hit the Claymore kick for the win! #AndNew

Drew McIntyre defeated Bobby Roode to become the new NXT Champion

As McIntyre was celebrating, Bobby Fish and Kyle O' Reilly were seen again ringside. The new champion confronted them, but you could hear loud roars from the other side of the crowd, and you knew at this point that it could only be one person. And so it was: ADAM COLE BAYBAY!

The former 3-time ROH Champion came in, viciously attacked Drew McIntyre, took the NXT championship in his hand and then Cole, Fish and O' Reilly stood tall over a fallen McIntyre to end the show!
