Karrion Kross looks to finally take the NXT Title back from Finn Balor

At NXT TakeOver: XXX, Karrion Kross dominated Keith Lee to capture his first NXT Championship. Unfortunately, an injury forced him to relinquish the title.
Kross returned on December 9th, way ahead of schedule, and went after both Damian Priest and Santos Escobar before setting his sights on the new NXT Champion.
After Finn Balor finished his business with Pete Dunne and the Undisputed Era, Kross appeared to claim what was rightfully his. Between his two title reigns, Balor is one of the most dominant NXT Champions of all time.
Unfortunately for The Prince, he's facing arguably the most destructive force on the black and gold brand since Samoa Joe, the man who first dethroned Balor.
Considering the way Kross' matches usually go and Balor's recent wars with Dunne and Kyle O'Reilly, this is sure to be one of the most hellacious main events we've ever seen at a TakeOver event.
Finn Balor has beaten every top guy since returning to NXT back in 2019. That is, everyone except the man he was set to face pre-Covid.
WALTER recently returned to the United States to join his fellow Imperium members. Since we never got that clash, is it possible that WALTER will be next in line to challenge The Prince?
It has also been rumored that Kross could be fast-tracked to the main roster alongside Scarlett.
If that is indeed the case, odds are Balor will be the first man to defeat Kross in NXT. Regardless of how this one turns out, it's sure to be a fantastic end to this two-night extravaganza that is NXT TakeOver Stand & Deliver.
