The last NXT live special, April’s TakeOver: Dallas, featured the epic battle between Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn, Asuka’s shocking NXT Women’s Championship victory over Bayley and Finn Bálor’s survival of another war with Samoa Joe.
NXT General Manager William Regal has confirmed the following for the special:
- NXT Championship Steel Cage Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Finn Bálor
- NXT Women's Championship Match: Asuka (c) vs. Nia Jax
- NXT Tag Team Championship Match: American Alpha (c) vs. The Revival
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Austin Aries
