NXT as a brand had a pretty good Royal Rumble weekend with the WWE Universe loving the Extreme Rules match between Adam Cole and Aleister Black and critically lauding the main event of Johnny Gargano vs Andrade "Cien" Almas from NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia.
During that event, they also filmed this week's episode of NXT featuring Nikki Cross facing Lacey Evans, TM61's return and Roderick Strong Vs. Tyler Bate for the #1 Contendership to Pete Dunne's WWE UK Championship.
However, after that the future was uncertain, even though Killian Dain Vs. Adam Cole and The Undisputed ERA Vs. SaNItY for the tag-team titles were advertised, the matches hadn't actually been taped yet. But, the tapings took place on February 1st, 2018 and we can give you the results below.

Johnny Gargano comes to the ring and calls Tommaso Ciampa out but he gets Andrade "Cien" Almas instead. Gargano and Almas agree to one more NXT Title match, but if Gargano loses, he leaves NXT.
